I dont care so much that we didnt get Judd..we get to keep frawley( a rumoured trade)..and get to keep our pick 4! If CAC does his job than he should be able to pick up a GUN. You never know he may end up being better than Judd! Dare to dream.

Anyway, Franklin has more trade value than Judd anyway. No-one can argue anything else. Franklin is 20years old, kicked 70 goals and KPP. Judd is 24 and injured at the moment.

I would give the Doggies Robertson, Jamar and pick 21 for pick 5

Then we have picks 4 and 5. Beautiful.

why stop at 2? we need 3 IMO.

1 for a KP forward

1 for a KP backman

1 for a quick midfielder

preferably Hederson, Rance and Palmer

if we're lucky enough, a decent ruckman like Bellchambers or McEvoy might still be around for our 2nd round pick.

Lets get serious people, the likes of Bruce, Robbo (even Green) ain't gonna win us a premiership. We have a good young group of players, we should try and go for youth (hence the 3 1st rounders) to further compliment our group, to make a stand and push for a premiership in a few years time, coz we ain't gonna win it next year (i don't think)

We may as well face that truth now, rather than in 3 years time after 3 seasons of being ok.

Doggies wouldnt do that. Jamar is nothing. Pick 21 could be nothing. So its practically robbo for pick 5. nup.

This is good. Reminds me of 03 with 3 and 5 for Syliva and McLean

This is why we need 2 picks in the top 10. I would be very, very excited if we could get them. I would REALLY like to see Palmer at MFC next year, and Rance would be a good one to snaffle as well.

green should be played up forward. wasted in the back half. an uninjured fit Bruce with quality support can rip the heart out of games. Robbo can be a matchwinner but as much as i love him he may be past it.

I would trade 4 for pendelbury or franklin :)

Pendlebury could be the go, the filth will have to let him or Thomas go if they are to get Crudd

Pendlebury isnt that good

Clarke? Thomas?

i'm sorry but Pendlebury is a gun. There is a difference between soft and skinny. people often prematurely label someone who is skinny and skillful as 'soft' or 'weak'. Its just not the case. Pendlebury is a gun..and is exactly like a young Dal Santo..in fact probably has done more than Dal at the same age. The pies wouldnt give Pendlebury away for pick 1..or Thomas

Pendlebury is a soft outside player. Showed his true colours under pressure in the pre-lim. Those types have killed our club over the last 7-8 years.

Lets recruit Ebert or a big KPP.

We can't afford anymore outside only types who can't throw their weight around a bit.

Dal Santo is soft

Yze Magic - Im interesting to know why Chris Judd is a soft footballer now?

He is a soft person. Forget footy.

Although I suspect without his mates Cox, Kerr and Cousins feeding him the footy, he may just get found out on the footy field as well

A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers braved the rain and headed down to Gosch's paddock to bring you their observations from the second day of Preseason training for the 1st to 4th Year players. DITCHA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I attended some of the training today. Richo spoke to me and said not to believe what is in the media, as we will good this year. Jefferson and Kentfield looked big and strong.  Petty was doing all the training. Adams looked like he was in rehab.  KE

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
