Choko 493 Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 Interesting one. Should Bailey coach Sunday, or should it depend on whether Riley wants to? If Riley is happy to, should it be Riley? Thoughts?

Thoughts? Won't coach - despite the process he hasn't got a contract with us yet, and the mechanics of modern football is far more involved than him simply picking up the team sheet and walking into the box. I would think he'll be at the game though and any thoughts of our players maybe taking the foot of the accelerator to be dead and buried. I expect Robbo to kick about 8 goals.
deestroy08 0 Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 No no. We must save Dean's magical coaching debut for 2008.. a brand spanking new season. *sigh*
IWAP 170 Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 Would never happen in a million years But I would still love to see it Riley has already said he wants to stay on the with the Dees in 2008 asn an A/C. Don't let Dean coach the game, but have him in the box.
beelzebub 23,392 Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 nope.. Riley is our man for Sunday.. hopefully he will orchestrate a real stinker !!

QueenC 74 Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 nope.. Riley is our man for Sunday.. hopefully he will orchestrate a real stinker !! Exactly, we still need to lose and then start again next season !!!
Deano74 156 Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 no he shouldnt coach, but i bet he will be watching closely. The only problem is that we will most likely win because everyone will want impress the new coach, thus effecting our draft picks.
Jaded No More 68,976 Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 He's been released from his duties at Port. I hope that means he can sit with the coaches and start reviewing not only the team, but the assistants in the box. Apart from Riley who we know will be there next year, there has to be a huge question mark about the likes of Paul Williams and so on. This is a golden opportunity for him to sit back and assess who and what he wants to change. No doubt Foxtel will find him if he is sitting in either the box or in the crowd, so we'll know on Sunday afternoon.
