Would be a great pickup. Robbo and Neitz haven't got that much more life left in them. Even with them still around I think he'd fit well. And if Melbourne get Sheedy, he is the master of disipline with recycled players.

No thanks

He sure did wonders with Zantuck, Murphy and Cupido.

I highly doubt fev will leave now rats is in charge, but i would look at him if it came up due to this year been a average draft in terms of depth (supposedly) so trading picks would not worry me as much.

anyone who saw him interviewed on footy classified would realize that if it were up to fevola, he would definitely be at cartlton next season.

recent interviews of ratten explicity say he wants fevola at carlton next season.

therefore...he will be going nowhere

Some times there are those that just can't be helped ;) !!!

Why would he come to us. He mentioned that he would want to stay at Carlton next year + with our young developing forward line getting better, I would rather pick up a young forward in the draft next year.

Any player over 26 on our list has to have a positive affect on the rest of the list, and a bloke who after he gets dragged takes off his boots and refuses to go back on does not fit into that category. A great FF he could be, a leader he definitely isn't.

Yep.

I wouldn't take Fevola if he paid us to come to the club. If we're genuinely concerned about a lack of on-field leadership at the club, then we can't go and pick up someone who has never played a game in his career without spitting the dummy at his teammates. I can't think of a player I'd rather play alongside less than Fev. It's one thing to be highly talented, but the fact that he's had almost a decade in the league to grow up and play team footy means that he's highly unlikely to change.

Fev is the biggest wan*** in the afl. I utterly hate him so much. He makes himself look stupid on the footy show, he says "the team cant win without me...and im really important to the team structure" on footy classified and hes out of control on the field. Fev has the size of 1 hundred and thousand as a brain and no way would i want him at melb. We are still developing...lets get newton at FF after neitz departs and start recruiting by trading likes of Bruce and TJ

2024 Player Reviews: #7 Jack Viney

The tough on baller won his second Keith 'Bluey' Truscott Trophy in a narrow battle with skipper Max Gawn and Alex Neal-Bullen and battled on manfully in the face of a number of injury niggles. TRAINING: Wednesday 13th November 2024

A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers braved the rain and headed down to Gosch's paddock to bring you their observations from the second day of Preseason training for the 1st to 4th Year players. DITCHA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I attended some of the training today. Richo spoke to me and said not to believe what is in the media, as we will good this year. Jefferson and Kentfield looked big and strong.  Petty was doing all the training. Adams looked like he was in rehab.  KE

KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Beautiful morning. Joy all round, they look like they want to be there.  21 in the squad. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025.
