Some of us were commenting last week about how TC moves like he’s still in a neck-brace. I asked him why this is so. He said that while the ligaments in his neck have fully healed, two months of zero mobility means that he’s on a structured recovery program that includes physio and that gradually improves the mobility in his neck. He’s still a ways off from being fit.

The bloody Casey bye 😡 Luker was told if Casey was playing this weekend he’d be in the side. At this stage they feel he’ll only need one match with Casey but depending on how this week’s seniors match goes it might be two matches with Casey. Regardless, Luker isn’t fussed at all.

About his aggression/mongrel/ whatever you wanna call it, I asked him if that’s a conscious choice or if it’s innate. He said it’s just how he’s always played and that as a 16/17yo he was suspended “a fair bit” but now he has learned to control it. One might say he now uses it for good and not evil 😁

I'm just amazed.

I’m sorry beelze, it’s a touchy subject. I didn’t mean you any disrespect.

Can’t remember, what happened to him? I know he’s been out ages.

Doesn't make it any less amazing though.

The quality of medical intervention, and the toughness of the players.

Tru dat.

If i broke my hand today, that would be that for gardening for the rest of 2026.

Even thinking about it finishes my gardening for 2026.

Yeah main training will be at Casey because we aren’t playing interstate.

I’ve just had it confirmed that unlike last Tuesday, tomorrow’s sessions will start at the scheduled times, ie. the first session begins at 12:15pm and the second at 2:45pm. Each session will go for 45 minutes.

Some people around here think that Casey Fields IS INTERSTATE Ghosty! So Slthera central at 12.15 and 2.45 eh??

If Campbell is going to be incapacitated for 2 more months and then has to get fit, should we consider someone else in the mid season draft perhaps

Where's McAdam these days? Will we ever see him?

Apparently he has done a calf but Ghosty knows more I think! By the way Ghosty where is Jeffo at with his recovery?

I didn’t see Jeffo there today. I didn’t stay for the second session, maybe he attended that.

Shane strained his calf muscle during a match sim.

TC sustained a torn ligament in his neck during a collision in preseason training in mid-January. He was expected to be in the neck-brace for three or four weeks but it ended up being two months. The incident was unremarkable but the damage was serious.

Matt Jefferson continues to progress through a bone stress injury in his foot.

“He’ll partially integrate into main training this week, with the plan to have him training fully next week,” Griffith said.

“His availability will then be determined by his tolerance to main training.”

Trackwatchers a little concerend about Langford - doesn't look well (did little of the session) and left early.

Harves looked crestfallen today. He wasn’t his usual upbeat self. Now that I hear many of the players were unwell on the weekend I’m thinking maybe he was one of them and the effects are lingering 🤷‍♀️

Viney turned up after the others and was doing some serious wrestling and stationery work, so it looks like the achilles is OK for that type of work - no significant running yet though.

Right? We were stunned at how serious that was. We could hear a cacophony of grunting and groaning and bodies slamming against each other. Poor Zach the trainer earned his pay today. And some😅

Luker was the one I was most excited about coming into the season (except for Trelly). A good emerging forward who can give Max a chopout in the ruck.

Same. Luker was more than ready. He’d been told he was to debut in Round One. But he doesn’t waste energy on being disappointed or dwelling on misfortune. As I’ve said before, nothing gets him down, or up for that matter. He’s the chillest person ever, I swear he’s a heartbeat away from a coma. 😅

Sorry if someone has mentioned but does anyone know if Kossie was at training his IG post are all on the grog shots but pretty sure they in the preseason?

My tolerance to main training was always very low - might explain the very undizzy heights i got to in my junior footy career.
