Good to see Miller, Buckley, CJ and Frawley maintain their spots. We need to give them the chance to develop and in some cases show if they can make it. Now to seasons end is a perfect time to do this.

N.B Did not see your post SS.

yep expected this would be the only change.

Interesting that moloney is in the emergencies, may be a late swap? Holland, Moloney and Garland are the named emergencies.

Ashley McGrath comes in for Colm Begley is the only change the lions have made too.

getting excited now :)

Common sense selections........

Interesting that moloney is in the emergencies

Moloney's the only AFL grade small left available, unless you count Pickett. That's the only reason he's named as an emergency.

good to see B. Moloney named as an emergency too... can't be far away from a senior return...

He was named there last week too. Only time I saw him up forward was when Robbo ripped the ball out of his hands for a mark 15m out. Still expect him to have first go at J Brown.

No real surprises - Moloney will probably come in if Bruce doesn't get up, and one of the other two if Carroll doesn't

I just read an article with riley talking to the media today and he said he hoped bruce would be right to play, so yeah your spot on if bruce dont get up moloney will be sure to take his place.

I found another funny quote also by riley, concerning carrol " not sure about nathan, he kind of always looks concussed so its hard to tell" hahah

Happy with the team, although I expected Pickett to be named in the 25 instead of Moloney. Very happy that Moloney is named though, I think he's a good player.

Haha, gold.

I wonder how they get on - I read on this forum that Riley had told Carroll to ditch the headband.

All will be revealed on the flight tomorrow.

Depending on which emergency travels to Brisbane, we will know whether Bruce or Carroll are in doubt.

Good change. We've run out of players, and now the side can finally settle ;)

Expect Miller to start on Brown, with Newton at FF.

Amazing isn't it :o !!!

Expect Miller to start on Brown, with Newton at FF.

That sounds fairly logical........

As good as Bizz has been (named at CHB), he is not really in the same weight division has Brown, unfortunately.

Also it would be the supreme challenge for Miller.

im tipping newton to have a blinder if that [censored] merrett plays on him

On sen greg deenham said he highly doubts bruce will play and the news is he is not over the hammy

Do we know which emergency flew up to Brisbane?

If Bruce is out, I hope Moloney plays. Just to prove to all the doomsayers that he isn't finished at the highest level because of his ongoing OP.

I've heard from a source outside of the media that he won't play either, will be interesting if it's true.

" Bruce is not here, Garland and moloney training! "

So there ya go

Good question Dazzle. I can't remember a younger team running out. There may well have been, but it's lost in the mists of time for me.

Not to mention the amount of games played collectively. Not a hell of a lot.
