Riley must:Give the inexperienced players a go and see what they have got.

Get the players to commit for 4 quarters

Get the senior players (who are not watching it on TV from the Epworth) to back themselves.

Riley will:

Try a few 'crazy things' (Miller down back???) to make himself look different to Danners, at least one of which will work.

Have different 'favourites' than Danners.

Have a plan B (please, please, please!)

Riley won't:Win us a flag this year (Ha, that was too easy!)

Wont fix the kick ins (has been his responsibility before with no effect!)

Be coach next year (too many 'glory boys' out there waiting for a shot....)

will: send players for surgery

Must: Not be a clone of his good friend and, up until recetly, boss.

Only play those worthy of a spot and that are relatievly injury free, at least no major problems.

Test the entire list if injury permits.

Will: Keep Danner's structures largely in place.

Most probably win this week as teams under a new caretaker coach seem to win first week up more than not.

Want to win games regardless of priority picks

Require the use of Greecian 2000 or go grey...

Keep a low profile.

Be on a honeymood from the media for a few weeks, but not from Demonland.

Won't: Be too adventerous.

Win more than 2 or 3 games this year.

Look any better in a suit no matter how expensive.

Get the gig next year... seems to come from the same stock as Danners (to me anyway and I don't know any better).

Must be different to his predecessor because if he's a clone of The Reverend he'll be on his bike in 9 week's time.

Will persist with young players who are our future e.g this week's ins to include Buckley, Dunn, Frawley, Garland, C. Johnson and Miller.

Won't be afraid of some losses including big ones e.g in Neil Craig's period as caretaker the Crows were flogged by well over 100 points against Brisbane but the by the following year they were able to turn the tables.
