Do we have a spot on the list for Bonner in the mid-season draft? Also, Culley has had 12...those that are watching, have they been quality. I have only just been able to get the link on the AFL site to open, so haven't watched the first half.

28yo, delisted by 2 clubs. His ball use at AFL level is no good.

Credit to him for his VFL year so far but he's not what our AFL team needs.

Tiggers poster.

AJ big grab!

Not really a useful game for development of the gameplan due the howling gale.

Tigers packing the defensive 50 just makes it worse.

Only caught the last ten minutes. Forward 50 delivery unimaganitive

Will watch the second half

Casey been dominant all game and getting some reward for their efforts since quarter time. The handball game is well and truly on. Been better in the third quarter at trying to hit up targets in the forwardline.

AJ on song second goal.

I could be wrong but it just looks like—similar to the AFL side against Freo— things have really started to click.

The marks inside 50 has been the biggest positive for mine.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

The media focus on the fiery interaction between Max Gawn and Steven May at the end of the game was unfortunate because it took away the gloss from Melbourne’s performance in winning almost everywhere but on the scoreboard in its Kings Birthday clash with Collingwood at the MCG. It was a real battle reminiscent of the good old days when the rivalry between the two clubs was at its height and a fitting contest to celebrate the 2025 Australian of the Year, Neale Daniher and his superb work to bring the campaign to raise funds for motor neurone disease awareness to the forefront. Notwithstanding the fact that the Magpies snatched a one point victory from his old club, Daniher would be proud of the fact that his Demons fought tooth and nail to win the keenly contested game in front of 77,761 fans.

  • POSTGAME: Collingwood

Despite effectively playing against four extra opponents, the Dees controlled much of the match. However, their inaccuracy in front of goal and inability to convert dominance in clearances and inside 50s ultimately cost them dearly, falling to a heartbreaking one-point loss on King’s Birthday.
