Anti-Saint 246 Posted August 26, 2024 Posted August 26, 2024 SEN reports Kane is off to Ch7's coverage of live games. My question: "who will Kane replace"? I will go first: Please, let it be The Mumbler from Gippsland but 7 is pumping him up still in its media release. I hope our bloke Nathan remains. Quote
Demonland 74,450 Posted August 26, 2024 Posted August 26, 2024 Hope Seven didn't sign him up to a long term contract. 1 14 1 Quote
DistrACTION Jackson 10,749 Posted August 26, 2024 Posted August 26, 2024 So much brand building. First Christian, now Kane. My brand seems to be stagnant atm. 1 Quote
ArtificialWisdom 4,045 Posted August 26, 2024 Posted August 26, 2024 I can imagine that channel 7 boardroom meeting now. Executive 1: "Well, at least our broadcast team can't get any worse" Executive 2: "Hold my beer!" 4 Quote

Joel and Trent are appalling on camera just the latest. Kane will be a big improvement. BUT... this is just another reason I'll be renewing my KAYO subscription for 2025. Kane's move will just wash over me. Ch 7. Ch Who??? Quote
spirit of norm smith 16,679 Posted August 27, 2024 Posted August 27, 2024 Presumably Kane didn’t have a 5 year contract left to run with channel 9 !!! 1 Quote
demosaw 1,155 Posted October 1, 2024 Posted October 1, 2024 (edited) Channel 9 must be paying 1/2 his salary! Edited October 1, 2024 by demosaw Quote
I'va Worn Smith 996 Posted October 2, 2024 Posted October 2, 2024 Clickbait Kornes' recipe is a basic and simple one. Proffer football stories, which are unsubstantiated, with no basis in fact. Never admit you're wrong and rely on the old axiom of 'Don't shoot the messenger'. Nudge the snowball at the top of the hill and let it grow as it rolls and watch the tabloids give it weight. All care and no responsibility. The bloke is as dry as a chip and will eventually become stale. Channel 7 may well rue the day they hired him. Quote
