Methinks No. 31 is referring to Eddie Everywhere, not our Ed. Speaking of our Ed, he’s perfectly entitled to attend his sister’s wedding o/s, especially when players miss a game for the birth of their child.

Was a reference to Ed Curnow (Charlie's older brother), when the Blues were in their mid season slump last year Ed hosted a night for the senior players at his farm near Torquay. Aparently it involved some frank conversations and a midnight jump into his dam for a swim. After that Carlton went on a 9 game winning streak and deep into September from 15th spot on the ladder.

Maybe the Dees also need a short retreat for a reset ... 🤔

Reckon there's been a dusting off of a round table and a good Powwow a happening somewhere.

There's no way SG would leave that result on the table and festering.  Some honest open discussions / reviews had today me thinks.

Expect to see a number of changes this week.  That was an unacceptable performance.

I’d forgotten about that. And it came after six or seven consecutive losses, right?
Maybe a midnight jump into a dam IS in order, providing everyone can swim that is. Got enough injuries without a drowning or two depleting us further. 😁

There were about 16 MFC AfLW training.

Some first drills involved capture of ribbon. They moved the ball with the emphasis on forward structure. Goal kicking, then 5 minutes of play each way. They bibbed up. Hore in control, setting standards. Coach Stinnear matched up to Taylor, teaching her about the body work and positioning needed as a defender. Ivey was amazing, great talent, good forward craft and has the ability to hit goals. Purcell went through some physio test, then joined the team for the sims. Powerful movements and skills. Mithin was full of leadership qualities and looking fit and strong, Lampard and Bannan showing skills and experience. Goldrick ready to go. Fitzsimon quick mover, Zanker clean hands and getting some goals off, 1 step. The standards were very good, they trained quite extensively.

Turner was down with a trainer. Successfully ran a few laps at pace, was in footy boots, seemed to have ticked a box.

He refuses to wear one, much to his parents’ and girlfriend’s chagrin. I think it’s coz it makes him gag 🤷‍♀️

I reckon it’s because it poses potential hair ramifications

Thanks Kev greatly appreciated great that our AFLW Team is back on the park and training so well. Looks like our AFL Team have gone to ground somewhere other than Gosh’s or Casey Fields. Nothing on the MFC site, hope they are all fit and well for our match against Saints.!!

Where did we actually train this week . Did the team get secreted away to some commando camp to get the mindset corrected ?

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round.
