I have been searching for photos of MFC Senior, Reserve and Under 19 teams from 1964 to 1969. I have had help from VFL AFL 20th Century History Photos Videos Memories on Facebook. I have attached one photo of 1964 Under 19 team. I can identify about 4 players. Someone may know more. Thanks in advance. Bob Gormly.

Hi Bob, great post. if you find any more photos during this period please share. Based off a quick search, appears you were at the club when Frank Vearing was there, he was a dear, late family friend of ours. 

Per demonland's post, @Supermercado has put together a comprehensive treasure trove of a website covering all things demons. I can easily lose long periods of time just trawling. It's great.

Things I like about this photo (apart from it being a Melbourne FC team):

• black boots
• long socks
• wool jumpers
• no sponsorship logos
• no mullets or other silly hairstyles
• no visible tattoos

Was the MFC still a 'sporting section' of the MCC at this time?  Perhaps the MCC library may have some records.

I remember Kevin McNamee coming to coach Portland in 1971, but was unaware of his Melbourne background.

He later had the Clare Castle pub in Graham Street, Port Melbourne for many years.
