    Regrettably and respectfully no voted for the last round.

    While I am sure the girls all tried their form was the worst game for about 3 years. .Ā 

    In fact I went away wondering Ā  if our last few games since the North excellent win have really been on the mark for the coming Finals.

    However the girls have been remarkable for about 3 years and class is permanent form not so sometimes.

    I expect a totally motivated effort of desperation and class again on Sunday and hope thatā€™s good enough.Ā 

    Perhaps I also have the Ā feeling North are about to break their jinx and take the flag beating all three of the top3 others in a boil over. Their firm is top class and only failed vs us a few weeks ago.Ā

      One of the big stories of the AFL off-season was the spending spree of Melbourneā€™s Round 1 opponent, St Kilda. They splashed out heavily, first to retain Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - the hero of last yearā€™s epic come-from-behind miracle victory -turning him into a $2 million man. They then effectively took out an expensive overdraft to recruit a string of expensive players from other clubs. It was a risky investment strategy and, although itā€™s still early days, it certainly failed to pay off in Sundayā€™s season opener, with much of the glitter turning to foolā€™s gold.
