He’d be only on a 1 year deal so just move him on at seasons end and onto the next.

KDA Tom Fullarton is on a two year deal finishes in 2025, a Stupid decision if we aren’t going to play him, at least he makes Casey a bit stronger.

Maybe Fullarton is one of those players who plays better at AFL level over VFL level.

Maybe yes, probably not.  But either way if he has t been selected in the last three rounds of desperate need of a forward / ruck cover then why in the hell was he recruited?  Please explain!

Stop stealing my responses Mono!

A forward/relief ruck type.  With Petty and Turner giving us nought and BBB on one leg, do we try a JVR and Fullarton combo.  Not sure Fullarton is deserving of a promotion but our forward line marking is looking non existent right now.  I’d prefer JVR and an inflexible BBB (one last dance) , but not sure BBB can run much beyond the first half.

On his last few games he certainly hasn't NS.

And while he doesn't have the cred yet and shld be made to earn a call up, that hasn't stopped SG selecting plenty of players that also haven't shown much form at Casey.

Including ones going back to Casey to find form (BB), those coming back from injury via Casey (Petty, Hunter & Bowsa) or other untried new recruits (McAdam).

None of whom performed at Casey to a level high enough and long enough (more than one reasonable performance in a number of aspects of the game, not just a few goals here and there and/or a few disposals) that demanded a call up.

Meanwhile you have Moniz racking them up and having a number of solid to VG games so far this season.  Probably the best performing MFC listed player there, but overlooked every week.

As i said a few weeks ago... selection integrity is one of the key elements in a pro AFL club if you want to maintain moral and high performance standards imv.

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
