I wish him well for the most part but Weid is still the exact same player he was with us. Those dropped marks are much easier to watch when heโ€™s in Essendon colours.ย

are people seriously seeing the bombers as a potential finals team?

aside from us ๐Ÿคฎ they have just beaten bottom 6 trash teamsย

they have the Blues Freo away Port Crows Cats the next five.

they are a rubbish team. and shame on us for losing them incidentallyย

This is the stone cold truth. While Essendon's playing style and delivery does suit him a bit better and his confidence has grown, I don't see dramatic improvement there.ย

That was a [censored] end to what should have been a great Kanga's victory... :(ย

Bombers got the umps run and broke the Kangas. But Kangas were brave with Greenwood and Simpkin both out with Concussion.ย
Kangas midfield very impressive and missing some yesterday. ย Imagine their future with LDU, Simpkin, Sheezel, Wardlaw, Phillips, Powell all young and upcoming stars imv. ย

I've given Collingwood their credit and they are the media darlings at the moment. Far enough, they are a good side. But there's one question that I haven't heard or read from anyone:

What happens to Collingwood's game/strategy/chances if Nick Daicos gets injured?

Not much different to if Trac or Clarry are injured in September. It's exactly the same for all teams.

Pies bat very deep in their midfield, but like every side, if they lose their best players they struggle.

Brisbane lose Neale or Port lose Butters or Rozee and that could be difference between them winning a flag or not.ย

Likewise without Bont, Dogs are barely a top 8 side.ย

See I reckon Daicos might be the most important player to their team's chances right now, the number of contests he's able to keep consistently getting to is completely insane and it directly impacts the way they setup, if you were to take away his influence they would still be a decent side but significantly less menacing and minus the death by a thousand cuts he's able to bring over the course of a game.ย

Yes those sides would be a lot weaker without those players but Daicos' input is just that beneficial in my view and if I were a Pies fan I'd rather lose Pendlebury or Sidebottom.

Anyway.... I'm tipping De Gonski to be Gone for 5 Weeks. What a Censored piece of ..........

But look at his contested Ball Numbers!๐Ÿคฎ

  • REPORT: Carlton

The text messages started flooding in shortly after quarter time. One read: โ€œIs Melbourne even at the ground?โ€ Moments later, as Carltonโ€™s Elijah Hollands kicked the first goal of the second term, the Blues held a commanding 43-point lead. By then, the Demonsโ€™ only score was a behind kicked by Brody Mihocek nearly five minutes into the game. Ironically, Mihocek would also register the last minor score of the day after the game took a dramatic turnaround.ย
