    No apology needed. 🙂I wasn’t  expecting it, but coming back to DL has helped immensely. Besides, who ever knows when “too soon” becomes “soon enough” if ever?

    As for roosters, I’m not permitted to keep any (city council by-law) in suburbia. This is purely because of the crowing. So, my girls are as *pure as the driven snow. 😁

    *except for that period of six months during which time an escaped peacock would visit mine daily and would be very frequently caught in the act of mounting my OG hen (JH) who actually didn’t seem to mind at all. True story.

      The text messages started flooding in shortly after quarter time. One read: “Is Melbourne even at the ground?” Moments later, as Carlton’s Elijah Hollands kicked the first goal of the second term, the Blues held a commanding 43-point lead. By then, the Demons’ only score was a behind kicked by Brody Mihocek nearly five minutes into the game. Ironically, Mihocek would also register the last minor score of the day after the game took a dramatic turnaround.
