Would be great to discuss how many B&F Clarry will win when he is done playing footy... 😲 I am continuously gobsmacked and in awe when I see him play.

Top 5 MFC players all time?

We'll be talking about him tonight.

Probably #1. Definitely will be once his career is over.

He's special.  Leading the AFLCA MVP again too, despite Gawn and Trac also getting plenty of votes.

He's just like a big kid playing at his local footy club, you can see how he enjoys every single time he is out there hurting people and grabbing the pill.

Has there ever been any back to back champion player of the year?

Gary Ablett won 3 years running 2007-09.  That's it.

Goody won in 2006 😀

I've said it before and I'll say it again: the Demonland podcast is the best, most measured analysis anywhere.

Thank you very kind of you to say. We do put a lot of preparation into it so it's nice to hear some positive feedback like this.

If you can we'd really appreciate a positive review on Apple Podcasts. Positive reviews and feedback will help us grow the audience particularly because it is a niche subject.

More than happy to do this Andy, but as my user name suggests, I'm old (verging on ancient!).  You are talking different language to me, but if you send me a link, I can probably find the right place to leave feedback.

Do you own and iPhone? If so all you need to do is download the Apple Podcast app from the App Store. It looks like this.

Apple Podcasts Continues to Be Plagued by Technical Issues

Once in  the App search for Demonland Podcast. You will see our red logo with the Demon head inside the Premiership Cup. Click on it and then proceed to scroll until you see the section for Ratings and Review. Tap the 5 Stars (or what ever rating you want to give but give us 5 stars please 😜) . Also leave a written review in the space provided if possible.

If you don't have an iPhone then I'm sure there is an Android phone equivalent but I have no idea what you do on that platform or even if the Android podcasting app has that ability.

I am Android Andy and never had a problem tuning in either live or after the event. Apple too expensive for me, strange isn't it I bought my GD a phone just recently and it is apple. My wife now says she has a phone that is dearer than both our phones put together.

Thanks guys. With my ongoing issues of insomnia (not related to my MFCSS, I promise), I really appreciate these podcasts - more than ever! Appreciate the general positivity of the Dees outlook too. Although, having said that, if our decline continues, I hold you all responsible.

Don't blame George or i - blame Andy and his obsession with inaccuracy

Any positivity detected from me is a symptom of the first stage of MFCSS which is denial.

Great podcast fellas. Some fantastic insights and while I don’t always agree with everything, I can always see the reasoning as it’s well explained.

Measured, considered and articulate. Really appreciate the effort and makes my drive home much more interesting. Thanks for the pod.

Rivers to the wing. That's an interesting one @binman. All depends on his tank. I'd like to see him roll through the centre square too.

As for lack of pressure, would love to know what our post clearance pressure numbers are like, because this would explain why we're so high for intercepts and how our defensive system still strangled teams in the first 10 rounds.

And gee whiz. Oliver runs our midfield, @binman. Petracca wouldn't get it half the time if Oliver wasn't giving it to him. Petracca has dynamic moments and could turn a GF as we've seen, but over the four quarters I'd have Oliver, but love Trac too. 😜

My thoughts exactly.

Oliver is the quiet hard worker, Petracca the flash and dash.

You rarely see Oliver MIA in a game, even in his "worst" performances.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
