No change we are playing too well to make changes.

Yes this could be a very short thread. Hard to see anyone making a case to drop a player after that demolition.

No changes

Everyone is playing well bar Shelley Scott. Would love to see her find form v the Blues. Played second ruck last night in the second half and got some touches. I'd persist and keep her in the side.

How long will Zanker’s quad keep her out?  Hopefully not long.  Replacement Gillard has impressed in her 2 games.  Mick Stinear to do some shuffling.  Maddie Gay to the midfield?

Dees must win at Fortress Casey against the improving Blues this week to secure a top 2 position and a week’s rest.  Even better if we improve our percentage above Adelaide’s.  Linton St is a hellhole and not nearly as friendly as Norwood Oval, so who knows?  Dees women to emulate the men and win the minor premiership. Dees by 17 points.

Gillard is 189cm and has experience as a Ruck so guess she will work in tandem with Lauren Pearce.

Didn't know Zanker was injured. I hope its nothing too serious

The chance to play at home through finals is a huge incentive so i fully expect the ladies to go full bore tomorrow evening. Forecast is sunny with light winds (although Casey does has a micro climate all of its our) so hopefully we can pick up where we left off against Freo, post a big win and snatch top spot from the Crows

Go Dees

The dominant storyline coming out of Round One for Saturday Night’s clash at Optus Stadium centres on the influence of the big men. The spotlight naturally falls on two elite ruckmen who, five years ago, shared the stage in Melbourne’s memorable premiership triumph.
