Swooper1987 3,322 Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 Well done to young Josh Smith. Played in the U18 Champs a couple of years back for Vic Country. I have seen him play since u10's and actually coached him for a couple of years. I'm sure he'll give a good account of himself. Number 66 I believe! 5 Quote
dazzledavey36 56,290 Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 Interesting no Mykelti Lefau. He was someone I thought would be a potential smokie rookie pick. 2 Quote

Diamond_Jim 12,772 Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 Out of interest how often do the development players train with the primary list? I assume they also have commitments to the clubs they actually play for each weekend. Quote

I think it was either going to happen for him 2-3 years ago or not at all. He’s off to a super star line up at St Kilda City Edited April 9, 2021 by DeeSpencer 1 Quote

From previous years when a player at my club was a VFL player they’d do all their training at Casey apart from the occasional captains run type session on Thursday night at the local club if they were playing with us. But it might depend what grade their local club is in and how much VFL footy they’re actually playing 1 1 Quote
