Wouldn't you be better off just wearing your seatbelt to keep the warning sounds off?

No joke. Pretty stupid huh.

Got it. The dogs beating West Coast has almost cancelled that GWS result out unfortunately, doggies are in the box seat now with an easy run home. The only hope we have is if Freo produce an upset over them in the last round OR us win our last two comfortably, StKilda lose their last two comfortably and we catch them on %. Either way, I don't like our chances.

I would almost prefer to miss and the blowtorch be stronger on Goodwin.

My preference is we make finals, see where how far we go, and sack Goodwin anyways.

If anyone’s expecting Gold Coast to come to our aid to beat Collingwood in the event that we beat GWS - forget it.

Wouldn’t it be nice though?

GC looked good at the start of the year, it’s a shame they’ve dropped off the cliff. I’m sick of them repeatedly doing badly in the competition, it would be something to see them pull it out against the pies. Might well be a moot point by then anyway.

Would have said the same about Adelaide beating GWS, surely?

Jeepers, I reckon this is a bit harsh.

They're 5-1-9 with a percentage of 96.7% with a number of close losses in which they were either the equal of their opponent or the better side (e.g. the Dogs, St Kilda and Essendon games).

They're not the only club to have been well beaten by Brisbane, either.

Had even one of those close games gone in GC's favour they'd be just a draw behind us and Carlton.

They're a mid-table side, not that much worse than us, and on their day are completely capable of beating Collinwood.

The comment about the repeatedly doing badly was a general one over their journey, I can only think of one year they showed something but faded as well.

This year they’ve shown they can play footy and my larger point is that after a good start of building hope it would be a shame if they finished badly again. Which is why it would be great to see them pull it out vs the Pies.
