He is a big out but they've got plenty more to replace him.

They can just choose from their plethora of first round picks to replace him. Won't have the same impact, but is easily cover-able by them compared to the rest of the comp.

Exactly. They have insane depth and talent.

Still reaping the rewards of the ridiculous concessions the AFL game them.  Sad part is they haven't even peaked yet.

 

Most talented midfield in the league. They’ve got plenty of coverage available for him, though he’s a gun.

Early prognosis

Taranto will have reconstructive surgery this week and won't be seen until at least July in a massive blow for the Giants. Ward will miss probably the first month of the home and away season as he makes his way back from his ACL, while Sheridan's troublesome calf issues continue to hobble him. - Adam Curley 

Means one of Green, Ash, Hateley, Caldwell etc will get a game. Ridiculous depth. 

Nothing much has changed from last week except that we have 3 or 4 new injuries.

GWS are my tip for the flag. Nothing crazy about that.  We have two very tough games to start 2020. We could be 0-2 but don’t panic if we are. Eagles and Giants will probably be top 4 this year.

Early prognosis

All eyes will be on star defender Williams ahead of the Geelong clash, after he missed the Marsh Community Series. He's been training and should be fit to play, the Giants will just need to decide if he needs some more work on the track to make sure he's ready for full games at match intensity. - Adam Curley
