TRAINING: Friday 17th January 2020

Featured Replies

I read in a tweet from the club that the players aren’t training at Gosch’s this morning. Anyone know their whereabouts?

Which tweet?

None of the last few tweets mention a Friday session or lack there of.

The training times link however lists Monday as the next open session.

It’s possible that there will be more and more “closed” sessions as the season gets closer. Whether closed means closed on an open public field or closed as in off site from prying eyes is anyone’s guess.

A bloke I follow tweeted the club to see if they were training at Gosch’s today. They said there was no training at Gosch’s. I’ll see what I can find out.

Just had confirmation. They are at Casey today.

Vs hot and windy!

Plenty happening at the tennis door the next two weeks and with no trains on two lines and trams on strike at times over the next two weeks Casey is probably the better option.

If supporters turned up to the closed session at Casey today would they be asked to leave?

You mean someone will turn up?

I bet there will be a few closed Casey session between now and Round 1.

After postponed training Re smoke.   Today in Gippsland is much better, cleaner air,  so I imagine Casey would also be better than previous days.

I wasn’t suggesting that they would train at Casey for better air quality. I was presuming that they might be training at Casey to keep away from prying eyes.

You make it sound like Casey is almost as far away as Gippsland. In fact it's much much further away. It's literally the end of the Earth.

Yeah, but missed training sessions need to be caught back up on,  or they would have just said cancelled.   Casey would have cleaner air more-so than Gosch's, most days.

And the secret sessions, as you mention.
