A mate is on the same flight as the players and said he could not see Maxy. His word was surprisingly given how easy he should be to spot.

Given recent footballing history and the dearth of opportunities for some teams in comparison to others (and MFC does suffer in that dearth), including several other AFL-related issues that now seem endemic, it is not too ridiculous after the games this week to reconsider team mergers. The MFC, Footiscry and the Ranga-Tangers may well make such a solid merger with an emphasis on more lasting competitiveness and endeavour. It appears dead in the water as an item fait accompli, it is extremely unlikely, it is also very appealing to consider such a 3-way aggregation, just the same.

Fingers crossed he is at home putting his feet up for a well earned extra week off Clint.   Big P can handle the ruck duties for this dead rubber.  Good experience for the followers to see how they go at connecting with his tap work, and visa versa, outside of training and for the coaches to monitor this (and his) progress at AFL level.

Your mates need to talk to each other and get their stories straight. It's very unfair of them to mislead us so.

16 injuries.

Tom Sparrow ready for next week. !!

surely romance warranted Lockhart selection as he deserves promotion and is a Tassie boy. Opportunity missed to get some local tassie support. He gives a truckload more than the little Spargo boy imo.

At least 10 of those are certain best 22, and another 3 would push for selection.

Add to that injuries being carried by Lever and Gawn, plus the fact that another handful of the selected players who would normally be in the best 22 had virtually no preseason, it's not a surprise how we are performing.

He still might fly down but not actually play.

Cannot work out the point in playing him if he has a suspect hammy for one of the biggest dead rubbers in the club's history.

Sadly they do not know each other, despite Hobart being a 'small place' in many minds.

Hey guys, anyone know whether we have a chance to meet the players before tomorrow's game? Thanks.
