Can't say I feel sorry for the Tigers.  They've had their day in the sun.

They are lucky to have Lynch but they traded out good players to fit his $ in.  Depth or lack thereof may come back to bite them.

Having Rance and Riewoldt out will certainly challenge their game plan.  They also have Houli and Caddy out for a few weeks.  Their next month is:  Giants, Port, Sydney, Demons.  They could easily lose a few of those.  They don't have much time to adjust their game plan to cover injuries.  Doubt they'll make top 4.  All the better for us!

On every measure their game last night was worse than ours last week.  Will be a very interesting ANZAC Eve game.

They’ve had two blessed years on the injury front.  The weight of averages would say that it wouldn’t go on forever.

Get the delight but we have a few issues ourselves. Best we get those sorted as we could have played the Narabeem colts side and lost Saturday the way we played .

I can't believe they kept him on the field with a potentially serious injury.  He kept re-injuring it during the game.

Of course he will. If it was Max Gawn who did this exact injury he would be out for 12 years

4 weeks, you'd reckon he will be back round 7 at best

Could be back in time for Round 6.

Steven May will be slapping the hell out of that hand and wrist if Riewoldt plays.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

It's Game Day and Clarry's 200th game and for anyone who hates Carlton as much as I do this is our Grand Final. Go Dees.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
