COMING OF AGE

After a delayed start to the season caused by an operation to remove his wisdom teeth, Angus Brayshaw rose from a the ranks at Casey, returned to the Melbourne team in Round 4 and lifted his game to such an elite level that he finished third in the Brownlow Medal. Brayshaw was outstanding throughout the season amassing high disposal numbers in the Demon midfield and played a major role in his team’s rise into the finals.

Slow start to the year starting in the VFL but once they put him in the centre square did he blossom finishing 3rd in the Brownlow. Bigger things are expected of him next year.

Gus is a genuine Gun of the competition, look out 2019 and beyond.....!!!!

Stellar season. Hard to believe he wasn’t in the 22 in Rd 1, feels like an eternity ago.
