read between the lines guys.

can't afford May unless Hogan goes....okay sure.

but still in for Gaff if he'd return our calls? (btw Hannabal's Gaff inside mid mail spot on).

 hmmmm.

Have you got any info on who we'd go after if we traded hogan and got may... would we take our other pick to the draft or go after someone else?

Is Gaff a chance?

And what is the inside mid mail?

Cheers!

What? Can't we just tell Gaff he'll play in the middle for us a la Howe in the forward line for Collingwood and then accept the all the genius coaching plaudits when we push him outside for the following six years?

I'm pretty sure that's what we're doing with Pruess. Yeah, sure Braydon, can we call you Braydes? - we're definitely going to play two rucks next year . . .

. . . until the very first time it doesn't work out. But we share the same name and colours as Casey now and Max will probably retire or slow down sometime around 2024.

Yeah there is something not adding up in all this, are we about to see Melbourne do a Sydney? Interesting times ahead.

Omac could realistically be our No 1 defender if he shows the same improvement 2017/2018 in 2018/2019

the appropriate word would be "unlikely" rather than "realistically"

Mahoney got bent over for the Lever trade. I don’t trust him yet.

Would you blokes be the same group that thought the same about his "now best forward" brother in 2016 and before.....

Thanks BR ..it's an opinion.

Not mine.

Hope you get over your angst.

I have a few things that trouble me with what I know ...but Josh's ability to deal isn't one.

Sleep well my fellow Dee... we'll be ok ;)

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
