We are not the Tigers, so there is no point setting up the same way.

Correct, we are Melbourne, who lose games they should win.

They were more like us this time last year. Were only just starting to look like a decent team with a game plan and squad many were still questioning. Stuff being copy cats. Just like they chose to lets do it the Melbourne way.

Isn't it nice to see Tyson retained his spot, thought he was playing his role (whatever that may be of course), good ol' SMTJ said I have no idea and would show that when Tyson was dropped, I wonder if SMTJ has any idea why Tyson wasn't dropped

@stevethemanjordan

I was always going to wait until today's result to respond to your post.

The most humorous part of all of this is your complete lack of understanding of the fact that even AFL coaches get things wrong at times. Whether it's team selections, strategy, game-plan or anything else.

For the last decade or so you have continued to back whoever was in charge at our club, no matter the result. And you have been made to look silly so many times because of your lack of football knowledge and blind faith in the club.

The only thing that I am embarrassed about re Tyson playing this week is the fact that he again had no impact on the game and Goodwin played him on the wing AGAIN.

Of course you'd wait hero, Tyson had about 17 mates today   or you sheeting the blame on him solely

Look silly, I don't pick the team, nothing to do with me, experts on here neither

Drop Garlett

We need Garlett back

Great to see Petty get a game, we need another tall

Petty not up to it

Drop Vince etc etc etc

Kings of hindsight, what if we had had a resounding win and Tyson starred, would you have posted then    ??? nah

I support MY club, still disappointed with poor defensive effort yesterday, just don't need to beat my chest about it

It’s weird, but at the moment I’d prefer to play anywhere but the MCG ,where we’ve been playing terribly of late.

  • CASEY: Essendon

Casey’s unbeaten run was extended for at least another fortnight after the Demons overran a persistent Essendon line up by 29 points at ETU Stadium in Port Melbourne last night. After conceding the first goal of the evening, Casey went on a scoring spree from about ten minutes in, with five unanswered majors with its fleet of midsized runners headed by the much improved Paddy Cross who kicked two in quick succession and livewire Ricky Mentha who also kicked an early goal. Leading the charge was recruit of the year, Riley Bonner while Bailey Laurie continued his impressive vein of form. With Tom Campbell missing from the lineup, Will Verrall stepped up to the plate demonstrating his improvement under the veteran ruckman’s tutelage. The Demons were looking comfortable for much of the second quarter and held a 25-point lead until the Bombers struck back with two goals in the shadows of half time. On the other side of the main break their revival continued with first three goals of the half. Harry Sharp, who had been quiet scrambled in the Demons’ first score of the third term to bring the margin back to a single point at the 17 minute mark and the game became an arm-wrestle for the remainder of the quarter and into the final moments of the last.
