QB Seating

Featured Replies

I've just had a look at the e-mail the club sent out asking us to buy a guaranteed seat for the Queens Birthday game.  It appears that they want us to pay an extra $44.00 for this.  What I want to know is, what does this get us?  They wanted an extra $10.00 for the Richmond game, which I paid only to find that there was heaps of room in the members' area anyway.  If I show up at the ground next week with only my membership, will they tell me I can't sit with the other members behind the goals?  I'm terribly confused.

As far as I know it behind the goals is GA. Reserved seats are on the wings and level 2.

Is that the same one that is on the membership letter? I think you can chose to pay for a seat if you want one.

If you have a membership you have already paid and if you get there early enough you can sit where you like.

Are you a premium member?

Collingwood games,  behind the Jolimont end goals is ALL collingwood  only seats in this area are way up high and then you are competing with pie members who do not have a seat booked in the lower areas.   so its usually 40 demons 60 pie eaters.

Its caused me angst for many years, cannot sit where i want for a Melbourne home game.   Go Dees  25/26 quarters  make it happen.!!

Question on September: should I upgrade my (NSW) armchair membership to ensure finals tickets??? Does anyone know?

Only if you think we are going to make the GF.

The other finals are very rarely sellouts and even then if you are quick there are tickets to be had.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

One of the big stories of the AFL off-season was the spending spree of Melbourne’s Round 1 opponent, St Kilda. They splashed out heavily, first to retain Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - the hero of last year’s epic come-from-behind miracle victory -turning him into a $2 million man. They then effectively took out an expensive overdraft to recruit a string of expensive players from other clubs. It was a risky investment strategy and, although it’s still early days, it certainly failed to pay off in Sunday’s season opener, with much of the glitter turning to fool’s gold.
