This Nat Fyfe character must be pretty good if he's ahead of Maxxy.

for a laugh i had a look at the super coach rankings- what a joke 32 playes ahead of Oliver and Maxy not even the best ruck.

Still 26/1 for the Brownlow. Thats good odds.

He seems to be way off in Herald Sun votes and a few other rankings. It's a bit all over the place.

Loved listening to KB get shut down on SEN this afternoon for suggesting that Max got monstered by Nankervis in the Anzac clash. Someone read him the stats. lol

He's on 22 votes.

What about Jesse?

Breakdown.

Tommy got 5 & 4

Salem got 2 & 0

Lewis got 1 & 0

Meaning Max, Oliver & Harmes scored 5 & 1, 4 & 2, 3 & 3. But who got what?

Hard to think of Harmes scoring 4 or 5 (but stranger things happen I suppose). Let's pretend he got 3 & 3.

Then one of Gawn & Oliver got 5 & 1. Strange discrepancy.

Hang on , someone said last week that Max isn't in the best half dozen ruckmen in the AFL. How could he possibly be the second best player in the AFL by the Coaches?

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

One of the big stories of the AFL off-season was the spending spree of Melbourne’s Round 1 opponent, St Kilda. They splashed out heavily, first to retain Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - the hero of last year’s epic come-from-behind miracle victory -turning him into a $2 million man. They then effectively took out an expensive overdraft to recruit a string of expensive players from other clubs. It was a risky investment strategy and, although it’s still early days, it certainly failed to pay off in Sunday’s season opener, with much of the glitter turning to fool’s gold.
