Ok, I’m on.

Put it on with Neds and split my investment by 3 so I can place it on all totes (Vic, NSW, QLD), much easier than trying to guess which state will pay the most should we be successful.?

Anyone got a link to the Doomben race?

Edit: Nevermind.

Looked like the winner early in the straight.

It was such a wide open race (Doomben Cup) and the exotic dividends reflected that ... we now know that Comin' Through can run the 2000m and it won in impressive style.

There's a couple of overseas Group 1 races coming up later tonight and early tomorrow morning ... I haven't had a bet in the Preakness Stakes (8.48am) as it's hard to see 'Justify'* being beaten and it is too short - Good Magic could run 2nd to the odds-on favourite though.

I don't mind 'Limato' (each-way) in the Group 1 Lockinge Stakes at Newbury (12.40am) ... it should get into the finish.

*If 'Justify' does win the Preakness as expected it will be shooting for the triple crown in the Belmont Stakes held on the 9th of June.

We're now down to 4 runners in a 30k race ... blinkers on first time.

Will the Dan salute DZ?

Surely Macca?.... only need to beat 3 runners home.  He won’t get a better chance to break the drought, although the top weight is a good horse and $1.70 favourite with Ned’s.

My mate text me a short time ago. This is the Zephyr’s final run before retiring to the paddock?. Good luck if you have a little something on him!

I’m very happy for the “ The Day at the Races” crew to finally see the Zephyr win. He turned back the clock with that win. Happy resting Dan!

Blinkers on for the first time ever and the Zephyr just sped away from them like a horse possessed.  I wonder if the connections might be tempted to give the Dan a couple more runs with the blinkers on?

Anyway,  it's trifecta time again ... the Kingsford-Smith Cup & the Queensland Oaks are the 2 standout choices and I'll throw in a 3rd choice from Randwick.

If you've got a preference just post up your choice at your convenience @Dee Zephyr @Wadda We Sing  @binman

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence.
