Wooden Spoons.

Featured Replies

The Saints lead the list by a huge margin having managed to win the spoon 26 times.

If however we finish last this season we would join the Kangaroos in equal second place with 13, an achievement I would not be happy with.

Saints 26

Kangas 13

Dees 12

Hawks 11

Swans 11

Lions 10

Tigers 7

Cats 5

Dogs 4

Bombers 4

Blues 3

Pies 2

Giants 2

Suns 1

Dockers 1

Eagles 1

Surprising record by the Dogs who have been in the competition since 1925.

I think we can rightly claim second place due to the expansion teams which hardly count.

(In 2012 only GWS & Gold Coast were below us and 2013 only GWS below us.)

it's a bit spooky smithy

same number of wooden spoons as premierships

if we get one this year it might mean there is a flag around the corner (i can dream)

That is all we have left dc

That is a ladder I don't want to be up there on.

What a silly comment - the Hawks were awful until 1961 then the 70s. The Swans pretty good of late.

Neither would hardly rate on a modern day spoon ladder - the Dees would rate even more.

Im jealous of the pies..

I was there at Vicious Park that day we handed them their first ever spoon. A great day. Until a few irate 'Pies skinheads took a dislike to me
