Why?

Im gonna get howled down for this but to be honest I would have kept Sellar ahead of Pedersen..

Thought he played his best footy as a defender taking the big gorilla forwards. And he actually had decent skills too.

problem is Pedersen's got a bit of paper that Sellar hasnt.

One of those "could be a good player if..." types. There were a number of times early on when he played forward that I thought he looked dangerous, but then he'd spill marks or miss shots and I'd be left disappointed.

I am with you on this.

He was only ever going to be a "fill in" player at best, and has played his rôle pretty well at times.

Far from worst in most of his games ( he says damning him with faint praise).

He is what he is ........ ie. a 'trier' who filled a hole in a poor list list. We are now (hopefully) upgrading our list, and James won't be part of it, but not everyone can be an A grade footballer. Good luck James!
