Malceski got up and played on. No obvious injury..... Until he was subbed off! Whether it was bump related we don't know

And I agree with you in a lot of ways but the rules have been set for the better part pf at least 2 years now. Bump to the head is a report and if not suspension at least reprimand

You can't say it was an attempt at a fair bump. It has to be a fair bump and it wasn't.

As for why the AFL has done this - the NFL today agreed to a settlement of over 700million dollars for ex players re concussion. The AFL couldn't afford a similar sum

Just on the NFL scenario, the NFL revenues are in the $9 billion range.... Per YEAR!! 765 million over 20 years to 4,500 players is a disgrace. Back of a napkin figure of $8,500 per player in the suit per year over the 20 years they have to pay it totalling $170,000 per player... In today's money. The NFL on today's revenue (revenue aint profit obviously) will have generated $180 BILLION by the end of the payment terms... I'm amazed the players took this offer, they must be in dire straights. I would be surprised if the AFLPA is not all over this especially with Bell's suit ongoing if I recall.

But yea stuff buddy, give him 4 weeks!

He'd have a poor record and carry over points too I'd say.

Poor record, yes, but carry over points, no.

Was at the game, he stands over six foot, had his arm/elbow tucked in. If anything a tad late, watched the replay several times and I think he should get off. Malcheski wasn't head over the ball running front on to Franklin it was side on contact. But the way the game has gone ie Ziebell, he will cop some time.
