Rory Sloane

Band 2 would be pick 18.

that would be pretty handy if it happened.

Is GWS going to take Scharenberg, bypassing Boyd?????? it'll be interesting to see if they trade Patton this trade period.

Very optimistic IMO

not being optimistic, I'd love for us to keep P1 if that were the scenario... Scharenberg?

but Fyfe would no doubt trump this altogether.

things no doubt will start changing on an hourly basis re the trade period from tomorrow. looking forward to it.

Band 3 is 2 picks later...

Pretty much the same.

Mike Sheehan has Sloane as number 23 in his top 50 players in the HUN today.

In his comments, he says he "plays like a Demon!"

We can only hope!

Yeah I noticed that and had a laugh. Was waiting for a conspiracy theory that mike is now Roos head recruiter.

While I don't think it's impossible for us to land Rory, i'd be surprised, for one why would the crows trade an established quality mid for a player who may become the same thing?

we'd need Rory to want to come home, and so much so the crows lost hope of retaining him.

and or basic economics for Adelaide , like do they want to be in the draft this year.

The Adelaide List Manager just told Damien Barrett on Trade Radio that 'Rory will not be going anywhere'. Definitely time to close this thread.

because everyone in football never lies.

I'll believe we aren't s chance for Rory when the trade period is done.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
