They just had Jacko on Sen before reminiscing about his playing days.

Now that was an entertaining team. Comedy festival and world championship wrestling rolled into one.

We had Crackers Keenan, Brent Croswell and Jacko in the same side.

Somewhere along the line we even had Fabulous Phil Carmen playing for us.

Saw some stuff that you would never see in footy these days.....absolute crack up.

Yeah, some real headcases in that lot. Jacko's handstand after kicking a goal sticks in my mind as does the look of astonishment on Kelvin Moore's face when he did it.

Jackson's a know-it-all halfwit.

Jackson's a know-it-all halfwit.

He is a halfwit , but we [censored] ourselves laughing in those days.

halfwit? geez that's being generous

No, he's an Individual.

At least they entertained us. Even as a young bloke, i remember Crosswell spinning the ball on his fingers after every second mark. I'm not quite sure we even get entertainment ATM . Getting a bit over the doom and gloom. Bring back the funny Facebook page please.

He was no oil paintin',no Einstein either,

but he was actually a very good full forward, which is backed up by his stats.

I remember Fabulous Phil kicking 6 in the last quarter at Lake oval when it was pelting down and the players were knee deep in mud. It was almost enough to steal the game.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
