Why Cameron Pedersen fits in with the Demons perfectly.

The way he ducked his head when going for that mark.

It was a disgrace, and it needs to be recognised by our fan base, and by his teammates. For me, it was the single most embarrassing moment of the day, and it sums up a group of guys that not only aren't playing for their supporters, but for their own teammates.

Gutless

I really should of left at that point.

Pathetic

Definitely wasn't a good look. And Port rightfully fed off it even more. They were giving it to him.

Yeah it did look bad, but I'm not going to write him off because of one squib. He's just adjusting to our shitness level.

Most players do what they can get away with... Just enough.

so I would say thats a reflection of our cultures carry over.

This has been growing slowly, since Balme finished.

Only Neitz stood up in the Danners era. so end sent out an SOS for a hard type, & mr Miller arrived...

instead of having a team wide culture of hardness, he went for one man to do the job????

That will live with him for the rest of his career, which hopefully will be short, especially with us.

Does anyone have footage? Or remember what time in the game it was, so I can look it up on the game replay thing on the AFL website?

He is part of Neelds grand plan. This guy was targeted hard by the MFC I was suprised when I first found out and am still suprised today why on earth we recruited him. We already have two very ordinary players in sellar and Dunn that play a Simular style.

Pederson looks to run flat footed. Was recruited to play forward/ruck. He looks unfit. Just like Sellar

Melodramatic much?

I reckon we could turn Gary Ablett into Brent Grgic given two pre-seasons.

Was watching him closely because I wasn't sure who no 21 was. But he was f-ing lazy all game. Jow whole team was just lazy - there efforts of the ball was non-existent... players unwilling to help out there teamates or put pressure on the opposition. They barely manned up in defence and the forwards were mostly last to the ball.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
