GAME DAY - ROUND 14

Featured Replies

Defensively great.

No class or belief in attack .

Really interesting game - we really lack forwards who want to kick goals but the forward pressure is quite good.

are we the slowest midfield in the league?

Probably... I feel sorry for McKenzie, he's busted his gut on about 5 long chases already! Never gives up though God bless him.

Seller will be lucky to see the match out his knee is shot. He wont last the season

Trengove is Captain Slow.

Has been all year.

Skills are deplorable today....throwing the game away...lions aren't that good

I cannot recall a more obvious display of tanking since against Richmond. Not at all subtle.

I have got to say that when i seen Jamar and Jones out that was the first thing that come to my mind.

This is hard to watch so many players that need to go.

Think you're on the wrong channel mate....

Yeah Ive been his biggest critic aswell, on my lonesome - and now I see why, at least he has a crack!

Put Watts forward. Make him the target.

They can't afford to win against Brisbane, because we'll win games in Melbourne, even without Mitch.

Attn: Mark Neeld

Don't know if you noticed, but we don't have Clark or Jamar, get the EFF off the boundary!

I dont think Watts is the answer to go forward.

Blease looks our most promising youngster by 100 yards - excluding Howe of course.

Great endeavour from Nicho. About the only positive.

Tapscott is impressive today, Im wrapped about that.

MAGNER. NO.

Love Magner's attitude, but very ordinary footballer.

FKN HATE THIS FKN GAME.

Wow can we have any less luck?

horrible quarter

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

One of the big stories of the AFL off-season was the spending spree of Melbourne’s Round 1 opponent, St Kilda. They splashed out heavily, first to retain Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - the hero of last year’s epic come-from-behind miracle victory -turning him into a $2 million man. They then effectively took out an expensive overdraft to recruit a string of expensive players from other clubs. It was a risky investment strategy and, although it’s still early days, it certainly failed to pay off in Sunday’s season opener, with much of the glitter turning to fool’s gold.
