No he hasn’t, but it is pretty obvious that he would rather play for either Geelong or Port Adelaide. To land him we would have to cough up an obscene amount of money and beat the market in terms of draft picks/players to satisfy the Power. I would love to see Boak in a demon jumper but not at the cost which would be required.

Question, if we have to give all that, what will any other team have to give, including the Cats.

Why the hell would we trade 4 and 12 for boak + 7? We could offer 12 alone and cats could not match that pick for port. In addition we can up geelong's salary offer easily. Win for boak and port.

Port may want a bit more than Pick 12 alone, to feel they've been compensated.

They are re building so I'd consider Pick 12 + a Player + our 3rd Rnd Pick.

A player like Beamer + the picks,,, or Rivers if he's interested,,, or the picks + a ruck (Spencer), or P12 + Martin. Something like these.

It is a hard call, pick 4 could be Morton or Pendelbury or Judd ect

We take both, but we do not trade away our original first 2 picks. Unless in the U-17 mini draft.

Thats why We should Not use any pick inside the top 10 for Boak... Mid Rnd pick plus other picks OK, or + plus players OK.

Neeld loves his contested ball winners, but we also desperately need pace and skill.

Apart from Cloke or some other experienced players through free-agency, i wouldn't go trading away any picks in the top 20.

Now we can all dream of getting Viney in the second round, it's less likely to happen, but our luck is bound to turn around some time soon!

pick 4 - Wines/??? tough inside player with good disposal and speed (not break neck)

pick 13 - Kennedy (about as likely as getting Viney in the second round)

pick 24ish - Viney

Getting Cloke through FA would be the cherry on top. The impact won't be immediate, as we'd still be very young, but given that mids take less time to come on than KPP's, our new young mids should be starting to have an impact, just as our young talls begin to establish themselves at AFL level.

Clarke was supposed to have a lot in common with the purple wiggle when he decided to leave brisbane. So in saying that I don't believe anything about trade rumours and where players want to go.

That's if Port are happy with what North are willing to give up for him. If Port aren't happy then he either tries to find a new home or go to the draft. Nothing is set in stone if Port aren't happy.

Trust me mate, he's as good as gone, and he says the HMac won't be there next year because of the ruck situation, Majak is very lucky to be getting another year too.

Exactly I'll take more from someone with info from Port Adelaide as they are the ones who will decide where Boak goes.

I don't see how Melbourne would even be an option for Boak...

He either goes with his head (Geelong) or he goes with his heart (Port Adelaide). The money will be good whichever way he goes.

Would take ridiculous cashola for him to even consider the MFC over those 2.

I think his hearts in Geelong - obviously with his family, etc.

We need a Boak type like we need air to breathe and we are in the box seat to get him.

Port Adelaide will only care about who can offer up the best deal otherwise he runs the risk of ending up at GWS.

travis boak has turned us down but we are still going to be in his ear. from an inside source we will not STOP until boak has signed on the dotted line anywhere. the clark deal has proved that and gave the club greater confidence in sercuring anyone.

If that involves a swap of draft picks including pick 7 then I am OK with that. It can be used on an inside mid like Oliver Wines without any risk of bidding overs for him.
