Doesn't nearly reflect their absolute dominance.

So? St Kilda did the same in the 2009 GF but look how that finished.

5pts down @ q time....got ta love it.

Malthouse making a good point about our 2 of our players going to 1 Geelong player in the press. Will always leave Geelong player free. Press still a work in progress for us.

Malthouse the commentator is not a patch on Malthouse the coach.

Malthouse the commentator knows all, sees all, nothing surprises him.

Support your team! fer chrissake.

Even if it's only an internet forum.

The amount of negative talk is unbelievable.

The negative talk is reasonable when we see a lot of play that warrants nothing better. Support does not mean blind acceptance. We say good things when they do good things and bad things get the response they deserve.

And for what it's worth, I think they they are doing very well considering where they are coming from... but if the Cats were kicking better we would already be in a lot of trouble. We seem to be plodding a lot.

I just can't understand how their players get so free and every pass of ours is to a contest. Actually yes I do, because Geelong don't take an age to move the ball and their players aren't stationary half the time.

Chip has lost confidence .

Sellar not influencing contests enough.

Still kicking to 2 on 1s against .

But we are in the game?

We could lead at half time if we woke up a bit .

Tappy may be leading possession winner, but his disposal has been not much to write home about.

Morton laid a tackle!

Get Sellar out of there. Howe to Scarlet.

Yes -now.

How on earth are their players managing to find so much space??? We appear to be running in treacle.

Lord Howe!

Howe managed to break loose of the treacle and take a nice mark :) Pity he couldn't finish well.

Lord Howe!

No man is an island!

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
