Put me down for a vote for a keeper league at this stage. Since that's what the NSL is doing, I figure that's the best way to go for us as well. At least at this early stage.

Also, prepared to offer an up/down trade for two players. I'll upgrade someone on a centre in exchange for them upgrading me on a forward. Prepared to offer Rischitelli, $cully or Thomas for the centre and Dixon or Breust for the forward.

Question from a first-seasoner to the vets - when the trade deadline comes along, does that include cutting/signing players?

Its only a deadline for trades. You can cut / sign right up until the very last week.

My team is dees forever, I am lacking really good defenders in my team and I am willing to trade any player in my team ( yeah even Scott Pendlebury) to a good fair trade.

not really, because i have b. reilly who i have named in my centre, who is a back. and i have fisher to come back from injury

i have hanley, drummond, gram, lovett-murray, b.reilly, sam fisher, rance and suckling and mcpharlin as a sub

with b reilly now going back to defence, that is where i will play b.sewell.

Hi all. Well we’ve reached a well-earned mid-season break. Congrats to our half-way leader Stonecutters with an impressive 9-1 win loss record. And remarkably he’s done it with only making the 1 change so far.

It’s time to make some decisions about the future direction of the league. Cause I’m really not around much these days, I’ve decided to pass over the running of the league to Striker. I’ll still be actively involved in playing, and offering up my usual array of one-sided trades, and also I’ll give Striker a bit of a hand when needed.
