I've been a bit unlucky there - Schultz goes the week I trade for him now Shuey. Oh well - its how it goes.

Bartel is on offer to people who want a second keeper or have riches in abundance and can give me two players that would slot into my best 15.

Well, it's season effectively over for the Rovers, which means it's Winter Sale time.

Looking for my final 'keeper' for 2013, having already settled on three of them.

Happy to take a hit so that you can improve your chances of winning the flag, but I'll be expecting a gun in return. Have already made bids for Ablett Jnr and Swan (still waiting the outcomes of those) but don't let that stop you from putting in your best bid.

Players available:

Ryan Griffin

Daniel Rich

Shannon Hurn

Michael Hurley

Jarad Waite

Alwyn Davey

Tom Bellchambers

Lachie Hansen

Shaun Atley * (qualifies as rookie keeper)

Ian Callinan

Brandon Matera * (qualifies as rookie keeper)

Liam Jurrah

Matthew Lobbe

Hit me with your best shot. Fire away!

Well done Dappa Dan - Solid win in the end

Strangely i couldn't get my nose infront all weekend however I was confident I would reel you in.

Enter Sam Mitchell & Dan Hannebury, 42 Handballs between them is insane.

The Big Mummy came up 1 hit out short & suddenly I get smashed.

Going to be tough from here for team OMR however while there is still a slight chance for the 8 I will keep swinging hard.

Fortunately I play 3 teams in the mix for the 8 in the final rounds so anything still might happen.

Well done to all other winners in round 16 - This really is a great comp

Happy to scrape home today against HT - I think it was 4 categories by very very small margins - 1 hit out, 2 tackles, 3 marks and 5 behinds!

Getting really hard to scrape out wins leading I to finals, need some big guns to return from injury.

Yes. Good win Jako. Very close despite the 12-3 scoreline.

That was the last nail in my coffin for the 2012 season I would suggest.

If you want Bartel to go with Dal Santo for next year with Sidebottom and Greene as your kids let me know and we might arrange something...

You sound desperate- don't worry as I will not make the top 8. Bartel is not worth trading as a keeper next year. Robbo will belt me as will MM and Dappa will be hard to roll last round. I need to win one to make the 8, therefore give me Bartel for say, Wunderlink. Help a poor bugger like me out.

Despite the loss my bargain scrapheap forward line of Hansen, Gumbleton, Matera and Alwyn Davey - all picked up for nothing during the season - produced 10 goals 6 behinds - which goes to show it is possible to rebuild a shitty list.

Leuenberger's round two season ending achilles killed my side, though. Then Waite went down, Hurley succumbed to three hammies and don't mention losing Jurrah before a ball was bounced in anger.

Don't draft injury prone stars. Lesson learned for next season!

You never know, jcb...

But if you are keen we can work something out. But as a warning - Bartel is susp for another week - hence why I am trading him...

Oh I am completely oblivious to the events that have taken place over the weekend to the dog of a bloke but gun of a player who I recently traded into my team, and thought it would be a lovely trade offer haha

Thanks for the offer jcb, but I think I will pass...haha.

HT - see slight change.

I know he's got a tainted name around here but any interest in Scully? He's an underage keeper and will no doubt be a keeper for years to come. Currently though, he just isn't cutting it for me. Any trades for a high possession winning mid or forward would be strongly considered

Um...no. I had him earlier in the season and admittedly he was serviceable but not outstanding for me. Much prefer his teammate Greene who is a big find for GWS.

In fact, if they swapped pay packets for Greene and Scully it maybe about right !

Sorry to deflate all your tyres on the 'jeep' and put paid to your season.Full credit due for hanging in there all season.

Been there, done that. Those 'hack' forwards of yours posted a great score, it caught me by surprise.

Good luck for the remainder of the season, and beyond.

Why all this angst against Juddy?

Eye gouge = was trying to remove grit from said players eye

Pressure point incident = was only checking pulse on said players person, to make sure he was alive

Elbow into Pavs snout = its so big I couldnt avoid it

Chicken wing = I told him his shoulder was dodgy, and when I checked it went pop.

Let's be totally honest, he has been as big a disappointment as Trenners has been this season. As a keeper you would have to be kidding.

You have done a great job stickin in there this year.Early favorite for next year. And still could be a major threat for minor premiership if I am not in it.

See offer.

Still waiting.

Hurry hurry, hurry. Grande sale Grande sale. Only days left for trading. And some of the action going on with UF, is rivalling the Stock Exchange.

If I may take some time to 'gloat' I am in unfamilar territory, currently on the 7th floor, (nice view up here,I might add). As I look down to the basement level I see a new face sitting there, JA. If JA needs a hand navigating around the basement. I know it extremely well,so feel free to seek out directions.

/end of gloating (as it may be short lived /

Its going to be tight with some intersting games to come. Good luck to all the coaches.

IF I get kicked out of the 8, I have names and address. -_-

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Collingwood

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.
