Can someone provide a link to details for this weekend. Also is it televised?

Thanks.

Peter Jackson VFL Grand Final

2:15pm Port Melbourne vs Williamstown

Jack Viney should be playing. Dom Tyson is highly rated (top 5-10) pick who plays for Oakleigh, he should be one to look out for.

Not sure on if it's televised but hopefully it is.

The TAC Cup Grand Final between the Sandingham Dragons and Oakleigh Chargers is the curtain raiser for tomorrow's VFL Grand Final at Etihad Stadium.

Here's how the two sides got there:-

Dragons Final Term Earns GF Spot

Oakleigh Chargers Into Grand Final

Of course, the interest in the game for Demon fans will be on the form of Jack Viney who is due to join the club after next year's national draft.

I'll be there for what for me will be the last game of the season (I don't recognise grand finals when Melbourne isn't taking part.

It is a disgrace that there is no telecast of the game.

It was bad enough when it was played at 8:30ish on Grand Final day and you missed the first quarter because of the North Melbourne GF breakfast.

Foxtel have been televising it in recent years but nothing this year.

Very interesting from a MFC supporter background. We have Jack Viney playing for Oakleigh whilst Sandi's coach was formally listed as A demon..he was a listed player whom didn't get a game.

Go Jack GO.

Viney - leading possession getter 1st quarter 11 touches

Dragons all over them at quarter time

Dragons 6.1.37 Chargers 2.2.14

3 goals to Murphy vs 1 to sandy has chargers back to 12 pts.

Viney's work rate is impressive even if not getting a heap at the moment. Like a dog after a bone.

All square at 7.4.46 great qtr from chargers

Couple of nice touches from jack, seems to read the ball out of the contest well. His kicking inside 50 has been low and direct even if it could have been slightly more to advantage

Listening on the radio and they said Jack Viney had been sensational, that was towards the end of the second term.

I have young Jack close to best on ground for the first half. Great work ethic with 20 touches in half a game, most handballs but there's nothing wrong with his kicking.

He is seriously good.

Only blemish was when he collided with a teammate going for a mark late in the quarter putting them both out of the contest but I suppose that's a measure of his intensity.

Oakleigh 9.4.58 Sandy 7.6.48

Open game, some of the stoppages are shockingly open as some of the midfielders struggle with the tempo.

Jack had first clearance that led to goal in first minutes of 2nd half. Playing a ripper.

Chargers 10.4.64 dragons 8.7.55

Emma Quayle's tweet:

Amazing to think the Dees have to wait another year to get Jack Viney into their team. He has torn the @TACCUP GF to bits so far!

sooo pumped, hopefully one of the best f/s in dee history!

How do Murphy form Oakleigh and Coleman from the Dragons look? SOunds like they've been pretty good marking targets today.

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.
