It will be interesting to see of the 5000 average attendance they will get, how many are free tickets.

Redleg you will probably get 4000 supporters of the team they are playing.

I might go to sydney to see the dees play them.

I might have some chance of seeing a win and see how TS goes with them!

Sorry could not help myself.

Sorry but I had to Bump this thread as another insidious thread has surfaced about you know who. Will it never end?

Well the sharemarket has bombed much like our team, but the sun is now shining and last news item said sharemarket starting to rebound. The price of bananas has dropped so my banana smoothie should be back in town. Jaded who nearly had a meltdown is back posting with passion. We have a new temporary Coach and temporary Football Celebrity, I mean Director and our effort against Carltank I mean Carlscum was improved. We have learned that we can't kick for goal and our disposal is less than VFL standard, but as required by the temporary Coach the boys had a red hot go. The same level of effort in the remaining games could see a few wins end off the season, putting us where most would have expected at the start of the season. We will have got some more games into a lot of players and we can then look at addressing why so many of our players have not improved like Morton, Blease and all of the indigenous boys for example.

Don't lose your fin screws in Bali.

A good screw is hard to find.

Lucky banana smoothies and banana pancakes are a dime a dozen. Well until the AU$ dropped they were.

No. Never ever. I wonder how long this thread can hold out the 'other' thread in terms of posts and pages. I give it 7 days max.

A good screw is hard to find.

LOL. This statement is isolation is thread worthy. I'm not going any further, other than I think it's quite easy...in Bunnings.

Had banana pancakes Sunday morning (banana flavoured mix - no banana's). And the Aussie dollar was the furthest thing from my mind. At the forefront was Brad Green...

It's supposed to be blood red and blue. Maroon is different IMO.

It does keep me warm, so that's a positive !

it is a much darker red than anything else.

I have got the old one out as I sent it back after the Geelong game.

I never remember Melbourne being this colour red.

I got fantastic news. Bananas are now only $9.99 a kg at Chan Phat's otherwise known as Fat Chance grocery in Victoria St, Richmond. No kidding.

Hangon if you do not appreciate a little humour in this bleak period I am sorry for you.

Leave us all here having some resonable discussion and a bit of fun.

It is called "not the Tom scully Thread" for a reason.

Hangon might like this considering his avatar. I heard today that a business run by some black African men had been rung by someone from another business, who was upset with them. Without thinking he said to them "what kind of monkey business are you guys running"? It was only when the African man started threatening Racial Vilification did he realize what he had said and he then apologized and it was accepted. This is not a joke, it happened, just shows how careful you have to be.

On another vein I saw bananas at $3.00 a kilo on the roadside on the way to the slaughter last week. Should have loaded up.

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence. Lack of preparation after a problematic preseason prevented Oliver from reaching the high standards set before last year’s hamstring woes. BLOODY BLUES by Meggs

The conclusion to Narrm’s home and away season was the inevitable let down by the bloody Blues  who meekly capitulated to the Bombers.   The 2024 season fixture handicapped the Demons chances from the get-go with Port Adelaide, Brisbane and Essendon advantaged with enough gimme games to ensure a tough road to the finals, especially after a slew of early season injuries to star players cost wins and percentage.     As we strode confidently through the gates of Prin

At the time, he was on his way to many personal honours and the club in strong finals contention.
