My son Scoop Jnr on Demonland is marrying a beautiful English girl he met a few years ago. Unfortunately for her he convinced her to follow the Dees. She is a passionate sports fan and a really nice girl.

Looking forward to the marriage in mid October.

She is clearly a intelligent, smart and overall fantastic girl as all MFC Supporting Ladies are.

Can't speak for all MFC ladies, but you are correct about her.

Good on you and scoop for extending the demon support line

I always enjoy your comments and can remember seeing Scoop jnr on the land

Congrats for the marriage and may there be many more demons to come

They can even support liverpool if they want

Two things come to mind Redleg

- He is the greatest salesman to walk the planet in the 21st Century

- It is amazing what people will do for love.

Best of luck to them Redleg.

2013 is going to be a good year for the Redleg family in spite of the MFC.

Hope you all have a great time.

Have you forgotten? The national alpaca show is in Bendigo mid October?

However, if you must go to the wedding encourage your son to be a bigamist - we need all the members we can get.

my new Avatar is all about me laying back and thinking of what could have / should have been in 2013.

I can laugh about it now but I did tell some people that the MFC would win the 2013 Flag before the season started.

How wrong can a Big Frog be?

Yep. I am away in October for son's wedding in Liverpool England. On return will organize it.

Hope it is great occasion, Redleg. A Demonland social function will always run a distant second!

I will tell her that.

So we will need to ask the hard questions.

Does she support the eating of Banana based products?

Im trusting this was sorted very early in proceedings.

So their hearts beat true, and they'll never walk al8one? :-)

Im trusting this was sorted very early in proceedings.

I had trust once.

But when I found out my Father had turned into a Perth (Demons) and Fremantle (Dockers) Supporter, I could never really trust again.

The shame of it all.

Mind you my Father could not understand why I would Support a Victorian Team. Personally I thought it was obvious choice.

That 2008 phone call after the MFC greatest ever come back was something special which I will never forget. I even played him You Tube video of the Game just in case he missed watching the Game. These special moments a between Father and Son are so important.

Got it in one, except a slight variation, while she does follow Liverpool, he is a Man U man.

Looks like slot 2 of 4 is about to be filled soon, the president, with Coach and Footy Manager to go.

  • WHAT’S NEXT? by The Oracle

What’s next for a beleagured Melbourne Football Club down in form and confidence, facing  intense criticism and disapproval over some underwhelming recent performances and in the midst of a four game losing streak? Why, it’s Adelaide which boasts the best percentage in the AFL and has won six of its last seven games. The Crows are hot and not only that, the game is at the Adelaide Oval; yet another away fixture and the third in a row at a venue outside of Victoria. One of the problems the Demons have these days is that they rarely have the luxury of true home ground advantage, something they have enjoyed just once since mid April.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

From the start, Melbourne’s performance against the Gold Coast Suns at Peoples First Stadium was nothing short of a massive botch up and it came down in the first instance to poor preparation. Rather than adequately preparing the team for battle against an opponent potentially on the skids after suffering three consecutive losses, the Demons looking anything but sharp and ready to play in the opening minutes of the game. By way of contrast, the Suns demonstrated a clear sense of purpose and will to win. From the very first bounce of the ball they were back to where they left off earlier in the season in Round Three when the teams met at the MCG. They ran rings around the Demons and finished the game off with a dominant six goal final term. This time, they produced another dominant quarter to start the game, restricting Melbourne to a solitary point to lead by six goals at the first break, by which time, the game was all but over.

  • CASEY: Gold Coast

Coming off four consecutive victories and with a team filled with 17 AFL listed players, the Casey Demons took to their early morning encounter with the lowly Gold Coast Suns at People First Stadium with the swagger of a team that thought a win was inevitable. They were smashing it for the first twenty minutes of the game after Tom Fullarton booted the first two goals but they then descended into an abyss of frustrating poor form and lackadaisical effort that saw the swagger and the early arrogance disappear by quarter time when their lead was overtaken by a more intense and committed opponent. The Suns continued to apply the pressure in the second quarter and got out to a three goal lead in mid term before the Demons fought back. A late goal to the home side before the half time bell saw them ten points up at the break and another surge in the third quarter saw them comfortably up with a 23 point lead at the final break.

  • PREGAME: Rd 17 vs Adelaide

  • POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs Gold Coast

The Demons did not come to play from the opening bounce and let the Gold Coast kick the first 5 goals of the match. They then outscored the Suns for the next 3 quarters but it was too little too late and their season is now effectively over.
