All of what you say is probably true Redleg.

I will be delight if it improves matters.

But where it really counts is winning games.

When that happens I will believe.

I hear you brother. Amen.

You have been in the doldrums OD. If you cannot drink your way out of it - here is the sad alternative.

I am not in the doldrums Bbo

Just have a low opinion of our team at present.

That may well change around 4.30 pm on March 31st.

Just sipping a single malt as I type.

The world with the exception of the MFC is wonderful

I think Viney is a certainty this week and I would play Clark. He looked ok and can play out of the goal square. My daughter saw Dawes today and he thought he would be OK to play as well. Trenners needs more game time at Casey and probably another hitout for Blease as well.

I commented elsewhere that it would be a risky strategy if we play too many players who lack match practice. I doubt we can go in with both Clark & Dawes after their limited time on the ground in match practice. Agree on ruling a line through Sam Blease's name and you can add JT to the outs as well.

If they are worried about both, I think they will play Clark before Dawes. He is athletic and harder to stop than Dawes.

We are as one there Redleg.

I also think he is way better as a player than Dawes.

It is going to be interesting to see if Dawes was a good buy.

I used to think he was a good position player in a good team not sure he has that around him at the MFC

The jury is out for me.

March 2013 has not been one of my better months leaving aside the football.

I bought an Asus Android tablet computer, it ran for 20 minutes and expired.

No problem got my money back and ventured to the Apple shop.

My brother was giving Apple a big wrap ( I should have known better he is a Lions Supporter )

Well 9 days and 3 hours on the phone to Optus, a 1 hour visit to the Apple shop and 2 hours on the phone

to Apple it has been returned as it would not do most function at a satisfactory level and some not at all.

Thank God for the trusty Dell and Microsoft.

Our first game is on the last day of March thank god the MFC has nothing to do with computers

or I would be really worried.

Your lucky to have that much technology option

We were recently the centre of more lightning strikes and even my steam powered system was put out of action.

Telstra Repair date was given by my supplier as 26 April so I was not a happy camper.

I rang to say as I had no internet facility I couldnt arrange payment of my Telstra telephone account. Miraculously the fault was fixed by 5.00 that night ensuring access to Demonland. My supplier (not Telstra) was equally astounded.

We do have the occasional victory over the grander forces so dont despair

dpositive I cannot believe the problems I have with the electronic world.

In the last year I have bought a PVR, TV, and two tablet computers.

All of which either expired in short order after purchase or would not work properly.

Modern technology is wonderful when working but a giant pain when it does not.

These guys make the MFC look like the model of good operation.

Have you thought of living in a cave?

There have been days when I thought I was Redleg.

I would just like an even break when I enter the electronics world.

a 100% failure rate is surely not the average.

My wife is much wiser than me when I was complaining about Apple this morning she said

" you woke up alive today didn't you? That is a hell of a start"

Your wife is right, you have had a win already.

Pity she barracks for the Pies

That is her only blemish for an almost perfect mate

Lucky you, a wife with only one fault.

Your bravery is clear, Redleg, but don't go to the level of crazy-brave, and start discussing said faults here ... :)

She has another one that I don't talk much about Redleg.

She picked me!

Picking a Dees supporter for a mate is not considered a fault around here :)

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

    TRAINING: Wednesday 11th December 2024

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
