I see that we haven't been put back on the footy board, even though we are the most popular footy thread ever on DL.

True, I need to get rid of the out of control Eagles and Docker pollution that has infected most of WA!

It’s only a matter of a few more games.

The Brisbane Bear are just better at player development, so it time for another team rebuild. My money on Uncle Bitters in the ruck and Old Dee in the forward line.

That's why I have too.

Just heading out to grab a drink at a local bar and watch the second half of the game. What are all the Melbourian’s up to? Toot toot, Ethan.

I got this, staying home watching Netflix or the 1964 VFL grand final?

I am glad you did not tell me that DF.

May be we need to recruit Banana Man before it is too late and we are forced to have Pineapples!

The Victorian lock down has really impacted this thread.

I think the disinterest on this thread has infected the coverage as no free to air out here in NE Vic.

Youd reckon there would be enough Pies supporters to get coverage on one of the three 7 outlets to out rate Pawn stars or similar dross on at this time.

Thanks Frog

perhaps they knew Pies fans would not want to watch and victory might improve profile of MFC matches for future.

I was wondering what happened to this thread but then again, it is about a bloke who isn’t getting a regular game at AFL level but rather, running around in leftover 12 v 12 hub games played on reclaimed mangrove swamps infested by alligators.

That is no way to talk about Uncle Bitters!

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
