I suggest you actually do some kind of reading or show some kind of attempt to understand what you seek to judge.

These terrorists are no more Muslim than any murderer in the Western world is Christian.

From the Quran:

"Whoever harms a dhimmi (any non-Muslim) then I will be his opponent on the day of judgement" Prophet Muhammad

I'm glad you have found a peaceful quote from that tome.Although I suspect if it is a quote from Mohammed then it is a Hadith.

However, continue to delude yourself into justifying Dark Ages Ideology in 2015.Simpleton.

Also Dhimmi means Kaffir I presume.

Are you ready to take offence you zilch?

stuie, do you really want to start a dialogue on the sayings (and doings) of the prophet muhammad?

cherry picking quotes from the quran to bolster your pov is getting on shaky ground

if you don't think these terrorists have any connection to islam then you live in a strange bubble

I don't get my logic from old Peg-leg not funny, shouty punch line Hills Stuie.

But it is nice to see your half witted influences.

The above is a total lie.

2% of attacks related to Islam?

Try nearly every major world conflict.

I find it interesting that this intention is expressed so clearly and unambiguously. Maybe we ought to interpret other more violent verses (in the literal sense) in light of this intention. Maybe, this explains why there are a minority of terrorists in the Muslim community - some interpret the Quran literally, whilst others interpret it in accordance with the directions given by verses like this.

To be honest though, I know nothing about the Quran. There might be contradictions in the clear meaning of the text.

It's as fallible as any other religious text, and contradicts itself as much as any other, but my point is the terrorists groups that align themselves as Islamic are not recognized as such at all by the mainstream and reasonable Muslim community. It's just become a convenient tool of Western culture to brand them as "Muslim extremists" when the reality is they are a terrorist organization. Just the same as IRA attacks weren't put under the umbrella of "Catholic extremism" or KKK lynchings haven't been called "Christian extremism".

As a text ,it is clearly more aggressive, more didactic ,dogmatic and unrefined than the civilising theologies it borrowed from.

A "Dhimmi"is merely a Kaffir defeated in Jihad, for your clarification.

Do you want to continue to defend and respect the words of a Slave trading, child marrying Bedouin?

No it's not. Read the bible lately? Try reading it from a non-Sunday School mentality and then we can chat again.

As someone with a Bachelor Of Theology, I'm pretty happy my opinions are actually thought through, rather than just being the echoes of Hanson and Bolt.

Have a good day.

Hope fully the Mars Colonies will be ready soon for all believers of assorted Cloud Fairies

Anyone who reads and follows Religious Scrips of any kind are totally delusional and only retard the human race

The Quran and The Bible are both badly written and full of complete fairy tales

So are very dangerous

FM Drunk and Sideways.

Even Tony Abbott got one of them.

This is an enlightening piece of info.

Another reason not to pay tax.

Just as clarity though.

A Catholic who is radical/extreme is surely a Catholic extremist for he is no other.

A Muslim who is radical/extreme must also by such distinct association be an Islamic extremist.

Not saying either necessarily represents either's mainstream following for again , extremist by definition is one taking it to another level but they are of those respective religious following. Just saying.

Look Up "Saudi Drifting" on youtube

Have a look at a selection of clips & work out how much life is valued over there in the sand....

If I say I'm a vegetarian and then eat meat, am I actually a vegetarian?

That's as simple as I can make it for you.

Just so you know WYL, I don't believe in anything religious at all. Studying religion was the thing that turned me away from it in all forms.

Sometimes it's good to actually learn a bit about things you don't subscribe to and seek to demean. I'd highly recommend it to a fair few here.

The same old wafer thin rhetoric which dominates dialogue yet avoids substantive discussion.

''retard the human race'':

Did you know that science is a unique contribution of the Christian faith? It is the Christian world which gave birth to the experimental method of science itself because it was only the Christian worldview which viewed the world as a rational place which is open to exploration and discovery.

''Badly written''

I honestly have no time today to go through supposed contradictions. But luckily for me, this guy already has:

Thats like saying Jew bought some Pork to have for Christmas.

Neither is plausible as its fundamentally opposite to the core beliefs held.

A vegetarian who eats meat is simply enlightened :)

A close friend of George Pell are you?

I am allowed to despise all religious teachings

They are man made fairy stories who hold far too much power...

  • WHAT’S NEXT? by The Oracle

What’s next for a beleagured Melbourne Football Club down in form and confidence, facing  intense criticism and disapproval over some underwhelming recent performances and in the midst of a four game losing streak? Why, it’s Adelaide which boasts the best percentage in the AFL and has won six of its last seven games. The Crows are hot and not only that, the game is at the Adelaide Oval; yet another away fixture and the third in a row at a venue outside of Victoria. One of the problems the Demons have these days is that they rarely have the luxury of true home ground advantage, something they have enjoyed just once since mid April.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

From the start, Melbourne’s performance against the Gold Coast Suns at Peoples First Stadium was nothing short of a massive botch up and it came down in the first instance to poor preparation. Rather than adequately preparing the team for battle against an opponent potentially on the skids after suffering three consecutive losses, the Demons looking anything but sharp and ready to play in the opening minutes of the game. By way of contrast, the Suns demonstrated a clear sense of purpose and will to win. From the very first bounce of the ball they were back to where they left off earlier in the season in Round Three when the teams met at the MCG. They ran rings around the Demons and finished the game off with a dominant six goal final term. This time, they produced another dominant quarter to start the game, restricting Melbourne to a solitary point to lead by six goals at the first break, by which time, the game was all but over.

  • CASEY: Gold Coast

Coming off four consecutive victories and with a team filled with 17 AFL listed players, the Casey Demons took to their early morning encounter with the lowly Gold Coast Suns at People First Stadium with the swagger of a team that thought a win was inevitable. They were smashing it for the first twenty minutes of the game after Tom Fullarton booted the first two goals but they then descended into an abyss of frustrating poor form and lackadaisical effort that saw the swagger and the early arrogance disappear by quarter time when their lead was overtaken by a more intense and committed opponent. The Suns continued to apply the pressure in the second quarter and got out to a three goal lead in mid term before the Demons fought back. A late goal to the home side before the half time bell saw them ten points up at the break and another surge in the third quarter saw them comfortably up with a 23 point lead at the final break.

  • POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs Gold Coast

The Demons did not come to play from the opening bounce and let the Gold Coast kick the first 5 goals of the match. They then outscored the Suns for the next 3 quarters but it was too little too late and their season is now effectively over.
