    I prescribe a six week trip to Mongolia and Siberia there will be no internet and they will have no idea what AFL is let alone the MFC.

    You will rejoin the world to discover that nothing much has changed in Melbourne and drafting ( best time of the year ) is about to start.

    Summer training will soon begin and the world will be full of hope and bananas will taste as sweet as ever.

    NICK Riewoldt has finally succumbed to his calf issues, with the St Kilda skipper to miss Sunday’s clash against Port Adelaide.
    Riewoldt, as well as Jack Lonie (rested) and Sam Gilbert (groin), was ruled out on Thursday.

    Tell us more. I've been adding vanilla essence and cinnamon to mine but perhaps just throwing the chaser in the mix is the go. And then chasing it with an additional chaser of course.

    I live overseas but have been enjoying a brief sojourn in back in Oz of late. The highlight of my trip so far has been my introduction to the bullet ninga-whizzo bizzo, I used to mock it's solesonic microactive blade technology but now I'm a convert. The trick is to freeze the bananas before-hand.

      One of the big stories of the AFL off-season was the spending spree of Melbourne’s Round 1 opponent, St Kilda. They splashed out heavily, first to retain Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - the hero of last year’s epic come-from-behind miracle victory -turning him into a $2 million man. They then effectively took out an expensive overdraft to recruit a string of expensive players from other clubs. It was a risky investment strategy and, although it’s still early days, it certainly failed to pay off in Sunday’s season opener, with much of the glitter turning to fool’s gold.
