1 Morton (yep. some shockers but a great 2nd qtr)

I hope that's a bad attempt at a joke. He is the softest player I have ever seen on a football field. He literally runs like a scared rabbit at the prospect of body contact. This is a guy who has been on the list for how long? I don't know exactly, but I'm thinking its been 5 years or so. There are first year players who go harder than him. Delist him immediately. Offers nothing to the team but cheap sideways kicks around half back.

For those people saying that Watts doesn't deserve any votes, he was the ONLY player in the first quarter who actually looked like he wanted the ball. The ONLY player. The rest were abysmal. Sure he faded a little as the game went on, but he continued to work hard, tackle and present. More than can be said for 18 other blokes out there.

In retrospect, Bartram probably should have gotten a vote from me. If only he could kick, he'd be a really damaging half back.

You serious about Jones?

Completley serious

Wont go hard, takes short steps, Drops like a bag of *&^% way to easily

I could go on and on but seriously watch this bloke closley.

How you guys could put him in best with the amount of tackles that didn't stick or just got brushed off'

So easily pushed off the ball,

Clanger King

Really surprised with a lack of votes for Bartram.

He worked really hard, which is more than about 16 other players can say for themselves.

So true

But lets all votes for Jones eh?

While I'm on a roll Davey is a creme puff. The most easist player to tag. Once tagged NO HEART!

Jones, Davey to the magoos

Course he's serious about Jones. The bloke could kick 12 with 34 possessions and still have been useless, according to some learned individuals on here

Educated are we? Watch the game again!

When was that? when he got crunched from glass?

Im sorry but if that was watts or bennell they would have run in the opposite direction. Jones took his hit and was our best player on the night. Very starnge you see this the other way.

Short steps mate

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
