I could set up an under 9s team better then the way Melbourne do there kick outs

Decisions on Junior must be judged now, who ever made the call should be held accountable.

This. The ar$ewipe who made that call should be shown the door. The decision was a disgrace and is now coming home to roost.

time for Big Jimma and Schwabby to step up and take action on this...

totally unacceptable....

We renewed the logo this year....seems to stand for nothing right now...

Poor mark jamar no passion I feel for him

Why is Morton still getting games then after being t#ts on a bull every week so far this year?

No idea....

I'm lost for words tonight - gonna be a [censored] weekend watching every other team "do something!!!"

56 points....this is a disaster....we all know our team/list is better than this....

What the Fu$k Bailey, you suck as a coach. You have done nothing in the past 4 years. And it's time for you to walk other the sack.

F'ing disgusting.

This is like 2008/09 all over again, except with no reward at the end for losing.

This club has a LOT to answer for.

And I'm probably the most patient, least reactionary Melbourne supporter you'll ever find, but even I'm getting fed up.

WOW 56 pts I want Bailey gone he needs to be the sacrificial lamb the players need a rocket and it's clear that they don't respect him so [censored] him off before we lose scully

USELESS :(((

Frankly Bailey should do the right thing and go and offer his resignation now.....

We shouldnt need to sack him...he should know he has failed and is going no where...

Do the right thing Dean hand in the notice now...

Posting my 3 memberships back to the club.

Posting my 3 memberships back to the club.

keep your memberships....Jimmy will act on this.

nikoski 'it was good fun playing out there tonight'.....

good fun...thats how teams enjoy playing us...no fear....all fun....

Absolutely disgraceful....

Enough said!

Now Melbourne I expect something to be done about this!

I want an answer this week?

We all know the club hierarchy read these posts - time they acted - pay out Bailey now!

We were ordinary against GC especially the third quarter yet we kept the same team. We seem to have no agression, no determination. We are lost. Direction comes from our coaches. Our backline has really regressed this year. Did Royal ever play in the backline? Gee its hard being a Melbourne supporter. Is there any other team around that gives its supporters such constant grief and disappointment. A little effort goes a long way..........

Too many people at Melbourne who are too happy with themselves. from Connolly and Schwab down.

I hate teams like Essendon and Collingwood but i envy them.

They went out and got the very best in coaches.

We need to do that now!!!

They have had their chance, gotta get real tough now, even if we are hated.

When is he going to admit that his "game plan" is circa 2003...When are we going to stop accepting mediocre (sh*thouse) performances and acutally stand for something and earn some respect.

The follwing MUST happen:

1. Petterd in

2. Morton Out

3. Green Forward

4. and most importantly... BAILEY HAS TO GO...stop with the "i'm going to be positive and teach them to be strong citizens" and tell them, you are weak, lazy, pathetic and need to pull your finger our instead of taking your money and doing nothing for it.

Players and coaches equally should be earning their spot...VERY few are doing so

  • THE STATS FILES: St. Kilda

As part of the effort to trim the runtime of the regular podcast, we’ve been looking at which segments could be reshaped without losing what makes them valuable. One segment that naturally came into focus was Binman’s Stats Files. Not because it isn’t important; quite the opposite. It’s become such a substantial and much-loved part of the show that it deserves a little room to breathe.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

One of the big stories of the AFL off-season was the spending spree of Melbourne’s Round 1 opponent, St Kilda. They splashed out heavily, first to retain Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - the hero of last year’s epic come-from-behind miracle victory -turning him into a $2 million man. They then effectively took out an expensive overdraft to recruit a string of expensive players from other clubs. It was a risky investment strategy and, although it’s still early days, it certainly failed to pay off in Sunday’s season opener, with much of the glitter turning to fool’s gold.
