So it looks as though Ricky will be the sub again I thought his 1 quarter last week was better than marics 3, there was also an article through the week about him not being happy being the sub. I would have preferred to see him in the starting 18 does anyone agree or disagree ?

On another note heard a whisper frawley may not play. Warnock os an emergancy

Ricky as sub is [censored].

Chip possibly out just sucks.

Ricky is on Triple M at the moment and has said he is looking forward to finally playing a full game today, so...

Good to hear.

Nathan Brown's dream again...epic.

Why would you say that? Highly unlikely IMO

Do you have any reason to say that or are you making it up??

Just saw the teams on the Sunday footy show and it showed him as the sub why in hell would i make something like that up i was surprised to see it thats all!!

Also before I get shot down the frawley may not play rumor I also heard on thismornings footy show think it was Damian Barrett ?

So we shall see how Reputable the "Sunday Footy Show" is. I haven't watched it for about 15 years, so i cannot comment at this stage!!!!

Listen to the Footy Show if you want, but reverse all the speculation you hear because those guys have no idea. Them saying Frawley won't play means he will, and Ricky = Sub means he definitely won't be.

Posted

No Chance he will be sub...Teams cannot afford to have the same sub weekly.....match fitness falls away too quickly...

Hard to see Chip not playing given Warnock played last night for Casey. Unless they plan to use Stef Martin down back? Just have to wait and see. Rumor Is Hodge or Sewell didn't come up..

Chip will play seeing Warnock played yesterday, maybe Warnock as emergency is just to mess with the Hawks a bit and make them wonder...

I'm torn about Ricky as sub, on form he should play the whole game, but he played the role so well last week and it worked really well as a strategy, can't see Maric having as much of an impact, although his run could be handy...

Yep it is a real Hard one, remember the second half will be in the dark, with moisture in the air.

Petterd could be the man for the job, but yes he could star all game too-Glad i am not a selector!!!

DemonsHQ just tweeted:

"Addam Maric is the sub for @DemonsHQ today. Jordan Lewis is the Hawthorn sub."

No, nothing yet... but I doubt they would be giving anything away on that score almost until they take the field.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
