Oh! Pphhhuuuuccc.

thats sad.

................R.I.P. Doc.

R.I.P Darrel Doc Baldock .. like myself played footy in Tassie and he is a legend down Latrobe way and all across state football. R.I.P one of the true legends

Very sad news indeed.

I was privileged to see Doc play on quite a few occasions down at the junction oval and on the MCG. He was one of the best football players I have ever seen. He was very short for a KPP but was blessed by the good lord with a jynormous bum which proved to be a mobile roadblock to opposing players.

He is immortalised on the MCC tapestry hanging on the wall outside the longroom.

My parents were neighbours with him in Lower Barrington, but they recently moved back to Melbourne.

Dad said he was a real nice fella, seems pretty gutted by it, and Dad's dog died this morning too. Sad day.

Wasn't able to see the "Doc" pplay but i heard all about him as a kid.

Incredible that he was able to hold down CHF at only 179 cm.

He had incredible ball control, he practised as much as a young Bradman i was told.

R.I.P. Darrell B)

Best "wet-tracker" i've ever seen ! Mind you, my eyes were not opened to his true ability until our famous close-checking CHB Brian "Doc" Roet retired!

Great player for the saints R.P.I DOC are thoughts are with the family and friends of Mr Boldock.
